Sezana Fahmida is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the Computer Science Department at Wayne State University's College of Engineering. She earned her PhD from Wayne State University in 2023.
Her research focuses on Internet of Things (IoT), real-time embedded systems, wireless networks, and cyber-physical systems. She investigates communication protocols, energy efficiency, and network optimization techniques for IoT applications.
Her recent publications explore real-time communication protocols, battery optimization in low-power networks, and machine learning solutions for network coexistence. She received the Wayne State University Graduate Student Travel Scholarship Award in 2023 and has presented her work at international conferences including CPS-IoT Week and ICDCS.
