Dali Ismail is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computing at Binghamton University. His research focuses on Internet of Things (IoT), wireless networks, cyber-physical systems, and real-time embedded systems. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Wayne State University (2021), an MS from Washington University in St. Louis, and a BS from the University of Science and Technology in Sudan.
Dr. Ismail’s research interests include low-power wide-area networks (LPWAN), mobile and wireless networks, and embedded systems. He has contributed to scalable real-time control in industrial systems, latency reduction in network integration, and disease outbreak tracking via wireless systems. His work emphasizes practical deployment challenges and protocol design for real-world applications.
