Dr. Seungmoon Song is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Northeastern University and Director of the NeuMove Lab. His research focuses on neuromechanics of human movement and applications in wearable robotics, rehabilitation, and assistive devices. He leads projects like the NIH-funded ankle exoskeleton framework for older adults and contributes to MyoSuite/MyoChallenge initiatives. He earned a PhD in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University (2017) with a Presidential Fellowship, and holds M.S. (Virginia Tech, 2010) and B.E. (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, 2008) degrees in engineering disciplines.
