Seth Rouser is an Associate Professor of Fine Arts at Winthrop University, where he coordinates the Foundations program in the Department of Fine Arts. He teaches across disciplines including Figure Drawing, Upper-level Drawing, and Painting, and actively integrates digital technology into art education through university initiatives. His work involves producing instructional videos funded by the Imagination Institute (Philadelphia), an affiliate of the John Templeton Foundation. Rouser’s artistic practice focuses on cloudscapes as metaphors for human existence, exploring themes of flux, identity, and temporal experience through abstract mark-making and layered color glazes in oil paintings.
