Seth Robia

Seth Robia, PhD is a Professor at the Department of Cell and Molecular Physiology within Loyola University Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine. His research focuses on transport ATPases, particularly the SERCA calcium transporter's role in cardiovascular physiology and ion regulation. He employs advanced techniques like fluorescence spectroscopy and molecular dynamics simulations to study protein structure-function relationships.

Research interests center on understanding how transport ATPases regulate intracellular calcium dynamics critical for heart muscle contraction.
