Seth O'Brien

Seth O'Brien serves as Professor in the School of Construction at Pittsburg State University's College of Technology. He holds an M.S.T. in Technology, an M.B.A. in Business Administration, and a B.S.E.T. in Construction Engineering Technology, all from Pittsburg State University.

His teaching portfolio includes Construction Industry fundamentals, Construction Surveying I-II, Residential Land Development, and specialized courses in laser scanning applications. As faculty advisor for the American Concrete Institute student chapter, he integrates professional certifications into the curriculum.

Research focuses on advanced construction technologies including terrestrial laser scanning, Building Information Modeling integration, robotic total stations, and GPS applications in construction. He coordinates the School of Construction Expo, facilitating industry-academia knowledge exchange.
