Dr. Servaas Storm is a Senior Researcher at Delft University of Technology's Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management. He holds a PhD in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and is affiliated with the Department of Values, Technology and Innovation, specializing in the Economics of Technology and Innovation. His research focuses on productivity growth, climate change economics, and macroeconomic policy frameworks. Storm serves on the editorial boards of Development and Change and the European Journal of Economics and Economic Policies, and is a member of the Institute for New Economic Thinking's Working Group on Political Economy of Distribution.
Storm's work addresses secular stagnation in OECD productivity, technology-induced structural change, and climate-energy transitions. His co-authored book Macroeconomics Beyond the NAIRU (Harvard UP, 2012) won the 2013 Myrdal Prize. He teaches economics courses and contributes to the specialization track in Economics & Finance.
