Sergio Gentilli

Sergio Gentilli serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Translational Medicine at the University of Eastern Piedmont's School of Medicine. Based at Bellini Palace in Novara, he maintains active teaching responsibilities across multiple academic years including current commitments for 2025/2026.

His research spans surgical oncology with particular focus on hepatocellular carcinoma, adipocyte metabolism, and innovative surgical techniques. Current projects include evaluating tenascin expression in liver cancer, analyzing phytoestrogen effects on adipocytes, developing novel anastomotic methods for esophago-gastric surgery, and investigating hematological prognostic markers in colorectal cancer.
