Sergi Moll Bagur

Dr. Sergi Moll Bagur is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Education of the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), where he also serves as a member of the Postgraduate Studies Center. He is an active researcher within the consolidated R&D group Estudis d'Història de l'Educació (GEDHE).

Dr. Moll Bagur's research focuses on the History of Education, with special emphasis on religious schools in postwar Spain (1939-1945). His work examines educational practices, social capital formation, identity construction, and historical memory within these institutions. Through his publications spanning from 2017 to 2025, he has documented the evolution of educational practices in Mallorca and the Balearic Islands during the Franco era, exploring how schools functioned as sites of cultural transmission and identity formation.
