Dr. Sergey Popov is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University, specializing in applied microeconomics and econometrics. He joined Cardiff in 2018 after holding positions at Queen's University Belfast (2013–2017) and the Higher School of Economics (2011–2013). His academic credentials include a PhD from the University of Illinois (2011), an MA from the New Economics School (2005), and a Specialist degree from Novosibirsk State University (2003).
