Professor Sergey Anokhin is a globally recognized scholar in entrepreneurship and innovation management at the University of Louisville's College of Business, where he serves as Director of Entrepreneurship. He holds a PhD in Management from Case Western Reserve University (2006). His research focuses on entrepreneurship, international business strategies, and innovation, with over 50 peer-reviewed articles in top journals like the Journal of Business Venturing and Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal. His work has earned awards in the U.S., Australia, and Asia.
Preceding his current role, he was faculty at Kent State University (Ohio), St. Cloud State University (Minnesota), and Menlo College (California). He directed the Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation at Kent State and taught executive education in Mexico. His teaching spans executive, doctoral, MBA, and undergraduate programs in entrepreneurship, strategy, and international business, delivered in traditional, online, and hybrid formats.
