Serena Vantin

Serena Vantin is an Associate Professor of Philosophy of Law at the Department of Philosophy, University of Bologna. She holds a PhD in Political Sciences from the University of Pisa and has held visiting fellowships at institutions including Queen Mary University of London, Cambridge University, and the University of Notre Dame. Her research focuses on the history of legal philosophy, legal feminism, and bioethical issues in technology.

Education: Summa cum laude Master's in Law (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia), PhD in Political Sciences (University of Pisa, summa cum laude). Awards include the Best PhD Thesis Award in Sector 6 (2018) and the Summer Writing Grant at University of Notre Dame (2025).
