Research Interests span HIV-associated neurological disorders, neuroinflammatory mechanisms, and Long COVID. Her work explores early HIV diagnosis, antiretroviral therapy timing, and CNS viral reservoirs. Using PET imaging, CSF biomarkers, and multiomic sequencing, she investigates neurodegeneration and immune activation.
Recent Publications highlight brain white matter changes in acute HIV, longitudinal neuroinflammatory responses, and HIV/COVID-19 interactions. Key awards include the Patterson Trust Mentored Research Award (2023) and Young Investigator Scholarship (CROI, 2017).
