Serena G. Sohrab is an Associate Professor of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources at Ontario Tech University’s Faculty of Business and Information Technology. She holds a PhD in Organizational Behaviour from York University’s Schulich School of Business, alongside an MBA and BSc in Electrical Engineering. Her research focuses on women’s career advancement, work-family conflict, team dynamics, and infertility’s impact on professional trajectories. She has been recognized with awards such as the Top Paper Award from the National Communication Association and SSHRC funding. Her work bridges academic research and practice through non-profit initiatives promoting women’s economic independence. She teaches courses on team management, organizational change, and recruitment strategies.
