Seppo Honkapohja is a Visiting Professor of Economics at Aalto University School of Business in Helsinki. He previously held the roles of Deputy Governor (2017) and Member of the Board (2008–2016) at the Bank of Finland. His academic career spans professorships at University of Cambridge, University of Helsinki, and Turku School of Economics. He is a member of Academia Europaea and the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters, and a Fellow of the Econometric Society and European Economic Association.
