Dr. Seong Dae Yun is a Senior Scientist and Team Leader of the Sequence & Scientific Computing group at the Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine (INM), part of the Research Center Jülich. His work focuses on advancing MRI technologies and software solutions for medical imaging.
Research Expertise:
- Development of MRI sequences and image reconstruction software (IDEA/ICE)
- Echo planar imaging (EPI) and MRI acceleration techniques
- Functional MRI (fMRI), perfusion MRI, and quantitative MRI
- High-resolution and ultra-high field MRI techniques
- Programming expertise in C/C++, Visual C++, and MATLAB
Team & Affiliations:
- Leads the Sequence & Scientific Computing team within Physics of Medical Imaging (INM-4)
- Based at Building 15.2, Room R 231, Wilhelm-Johnen-Straße, 52428 Jülich
