Associate Professor Semih Soran is affiliated with Özyeğin University's Faculty of Aviation and Aeronautical Sciences, where he chairs the Department of Professional Flight. He earned his bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Turkish Military Academy in 1998, followed by master's degrees in Management and Organization from İnönü University (2004) and International Relations from Selçuk University (2006), and a Ph.D. in Management and Organization from İnönü University in 2011.

With a background as a flight instructor in the Turkish Army Aviation Academy from 1999 to 2011, he accumulated 3,000 flight hours. His work bridges aviation practices with organizational and strategic management theories.
