Sem C. Borst

Sem C. Borst is a (part-time) Full Professor in Stochastic Operations Research at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) since 1998, with a part-time affiliation at Bell Labs. He holds an MSc in applied mathematics from the University of Twente (1990) and a PhD from Tilburg University (1994). His research focuses on performance evaluation and resource allocation in large-scale stochastic networks, particularly exploring distributed algorithms for optimizing network performance.
