Bert Zwart

Bert Zwart is a Professor at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven and holds a Scientific Staff Member position at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI), Amsterdam. He leads research groups in stochastic systems and optimization, with expertise in queueing theory, large deviations, and stochastic networks. His work bridges theoretical probability with applications in power systems, operations research, and telecommunications.
