Selçuk İNAÇ is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dogus University, where he has been employed since 2021. Prior to this, he worked at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University (2011–2015) and TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (2015–2020). His research focuses on energy efficiency, renewable energy systems, geothermal power, hydrogen technologies, and sustainability analysis.

His publications analyze hybrid energy systems combining geothermal/wind resources with hydrogen production, fuel cells, and e-fuel applications. Recent work includes thermodynamic modeling of hydro-solar e-fuel systems for industrial applications and multi-generation system optimization.
He co-authored the 2014 book Progress in Exergy, Energy, and the Environment (Springer) and has contributed to journals such as International Journal of Hydrogen Energy and Energy.
