Selim ŞEKER is a Professor at Uskudar University's Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, specializing in electromagnetic fields and their applications. He holds academic positions including Head of Department for Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Electronic Engineering, and serves on the Faculty Board. His research focuses on electromagnetic compatibility, biomedical engineering, wireless communication systems, forensic science (e.g., ink analysis via dielectric properties), and health effects of electromagnetic fields.
Education: BSc in Electrical Engineering from Yıldız Technical University (1972), MSc (1978) and PhD (1982) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from George Washington University.
