Gökhan APAYDIN

Prof. Dr. Gökhan Apaydin is a full Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Uskudar University. He holds a PhD from Bogazici University (2007) and has held academic positions at institutions including the University of Technology Zurich and a visiting role at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research focuses on computational electromagnetics, radio wave propagation, and numerical modeling techniques.

• BSc (2001), MSc (2003), PhD (2007) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bogazici University

Research Interests: Electromagnetic diffraction modeling, MATLAB-based simulations, numerical methods (FDTD, MoM), surface wave propagation, and renewable energy systems. His work emphasizes practical applications in radio wave modeling and environmental impact assessments.
