Dr. Seda Gürses is an Associate Professor in the Department of Multi-Actor Systems at TU Delft's Faculty of Technology Policy and Management. She holds an affiliation with the COSIC Group at KU Leuven's Department of Electrical Engineering. Her research focuses on privacy engineering, protective optimization technologies (POTs), and the intersection of software infrastructures with social justice and political economy. Gürses has held prestigious positions including an FWO post-doctoral fellowship at KU Leuven and fellowships at Princeton University and NYU. She is a core member of the TPM AI Lab and co-founder of The Institute for Technology in the Public Interest.
