Ruth M. Cardinaels

Ruth M. Cardinaels is a part-time Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering at TU Eindhoven and an Associate Professor in Chemical Engineering at KU Leuven. She holds a PhD (Summa Cum Laude) from KU Leuven and has held postdoctoral positions at Princeton University and KU Leuven. Her research focuses on multiphasic materials, rheology, and dielectric properties, with applications in polymer nanocomposites and food materials. She has received prestigious awards including the ERC Starting Grant and Distinguished Young Rheologist Award.
