Sebastián Lojo is a Lecturer in the Department of Film and Media at Solent University. As a director and cinematographer born in Guatemala City (1989), he specializes in creating feature films and short films across international locations including Malaysia, Lebanon, Canada, Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States, Guatemala, and Turkey. His debut feature Los Fantasmas (2020) premiered in the Bright Future Competition at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, marking the first Guatemalan film in this category.

His filmography spans hybrid documentary/fiction productions and cross-cultural collaborations, demonstrating expertise in global cinema practices, visual storytelling, and post-production techniques.
As an educator, Sebastián contributes to the BA (Hons) Film Production program at Solent University, leveraging his extensive industry experience in cinematography and film direction.
