Sebastien Ourselin

Sebastien Ourselin is a Professor and Head of the School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences at King’s College London. He leads research focused on medical imaging, computational modelling, and image-guided interventions. As Director of the EPSRC Image-Guided Therapies UK Network, he drives national collaboration in this field. He co-founded Brainminer, an academic spin-out commercializing machine learning algorithms for brain image analysis.

His research integrates AI with healthcare, emphasizing clinical translation and application in surgery and minimally invasive interventions. Key areas include developing computational tools for medical imaging analysis and advancing intelligent systems for precision medicine.
