Prof. Dr. Sebastian Müller-Franken holds the Chair for Public Law at the Faculty of Law, Philipps-Universität Marburg. His research integrates constitutional law, administrative law, finance and tax law, and state church law, with a focus on international and European Union law, constitutional theory, comparative constitutional frameworks, and historical contexts.
Research Focus
- Constitutional Law: General doctrines of basic rights, communication rights, organizational law, and European Monetary Union constitutional rules.
- Administrative Law: General administrative law concepts, police law.
- Tax and Financial Law: Constitutional order of state levies and German Tax Code provisions.
- State Church Law: Church finances, supported by membership in the Institute for State Church Law of the Dioceses of Germany's scientific advisory board.
