Sebastian Kruppert

Sebastian Kruppert is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Cluster of Excellence liv MatS (Freiburg Center for Interactive Materials and Bioinspired Technologies) and the Plant Biomechanics Group Freiburg. His research focuses on predator-prey interaction mechanics, applying ecological insights to optimize gait patterns in soft autonomous machines (SaM). He integrates zoological and botanical knowledge to enhance machine performance in speed, maneuverability, and load-bearing capacity.
