Sebastian Castillo

Sebastian Castillo is an Adjunct faculty member and writer-teacher based in Philadelphia, originally from Caracas, Venezuela. His published works include SALMON (2023), Not I (2020), and 49 Venezuelan Novels (2017), with forthcoming titles The Zoo of Thinking (2024) and Fresh, Green Life (2025).

His research centers on genre hybridity, experimental prose models, and Latin American literature in translation, emphasizing innovative narrative structures and cultural synthesis. This focus manifests through blending literary forms and reinterpreting Venezuelan literary traditions.

Castillo's publications consistently explore philosophical and ecological themes via experimental frameworks, with recent/future works deepening investigations into immigrant identity and cognitive landscapes through unconventional storytelling techniques.
