Sebastià Rubí Sureda

Dr. Sebastià Rubí Sureda is an Associate Lecturer at the School of Medicine of the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) and a Specialist in Nuclear Medicine at Son Espases University Hospital. His work bridges clinical practice and academic research, focusing on neuroimaging applications of nuclear medicine, particularly in diagnosing and prognosing neurological disorders like high-grade gliomas, Alzheimer's disease, and autoimmune encephalitis.

• Graduate in Medicine (2004) and PhD (2014) from the University of Barcelona
• Specialist in Nuclear Medicine (Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, 2009)
• Postgraduate Diploma in Statistics in Health Sciences (Autonomous University of Barcelona, 2011)

Dr. Rubí Sureda leads and participates in multidisciplinary research projects, including the 18F-Choline PET Kinetic Modeling study (PI15/01653) funded by the Carlos III Health Institute. He is also involved in clinical research on Alzheimer's biomarkers and autoimmune encephalitis imaging analysis. His affiliations include:
