Sean T. Roberts is an Associate Professor in the Chemistry Department at the University of Texas at Austin, where he leads a dynamic research group focused on understanding energy, charge, and spin dynamics in molecular materials. His work bridges fundamental physical chemistry with practical applications in energy conversion and optoelectronics.
Roberts received his BS in Chemistry from UCLA in 2003, followed by a PhD from MIT in 2010. He completed postdoctoral training at the University of Southern California from 2010-2013 before joining UT Austin in 2014 to establish his independent research program.
