Sean Mahase, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Penn State Cancer Institute. His work focuses on advancing radiation therapy techniques for brain metastases, head and neck cancers, and prostate cancer. He has published extensively on topics including stereotactic radiosurgery, multidisciplinary cancer care, and outcomes analysis between academic and community treatment settings.
Research Interests: Radiation oncology innovations, metastatic brain tumor management, and improving therapeutic strategies for lung and oropharyngeal cancers. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to reducing premature mortality from non-communicable diseases (SDG 3.4) and advancing health equity (SDG 3.8).
