Sean G. Yates

Dr. Sean G. Yates serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW), where he specializes in Transfusion Medicine and Coagulation Disorders. His clinical training includes Anatomic & Clinical Pathology residency (2014) and Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine fellowship (2015), both completed at UTSW following his MD from University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (2011).

Dr. Yates' research focuses on thrombotic microangiopathies, anticoagulant reversal strategies, and sickle cell disease complications.
