Sean Field is a UW Derecho Assistant Professor in the School of Computing and Department of Anthropology at the University of Wyoming. He specializes in computational archaeology, integrating remote sensing, geospatial analysis, and machine learning to study human-environment dynamics in past and contemporary contexts. His fieldwork focuses on the U.S. Southwest, particularly Mesa Verde National Park, and spans regions like Western Europe and Ukraine.
Education: PhD from University of Notre Dame (2023), MA from University of Notre Dame (2019), MA from University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2017), BA from University of Northern Colorado (2015).
