His work bridges theoretical models with laboratory experiments, examining topics such as risk preferences, asset pricing, and market equilibrium. A recurring theme is the interaction between multi-market theories and experimental validation, with applications in regulatory policy and pedagogy.
Recent publications analyze preference heterogeneity in general equilibrium settings, selection bias in policy analysis, and experimental design for eliciting risk preferences. He has also explored the impact of hybrid teaching methods on academic performance.
Sean Crockett is affiliated with several research labs, including the Brain, Mind, and Markets Lab at the University of Melbourne and the Economic Science Institute at Chapman University. His work involves both theoretical and applied experimental economics.
