Scott Wilson is an Associate Professor and Undergraduate Advisor in the Department of Anthropology at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). He holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Stanford University (2005), with additional training in Mandarin Chinese at National Taiwan University and Peking University. His research focuses on race, transnational media, cultural production, and applied visual anthropology, with projects exploring tourism in Shandong Province, China, and homelessness education in Long Beach.
