Scott Vandenberg is a Professor of Computer Science at Siena College, where he has taught since 1993. He holds a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA from Cornell University. His research focuses on database systems, computer science education, and scientific data management. He has authored multiple editions of textbooks such as Database Concepts and contributed to bioinformatics research, including studies on Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex and stem cell differentiation.
