Scott Sell

Scott Sell is the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education and Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Saint Louis University’s School of Science and Engineering. His research focuses on tissue engineering, particularly using electrospinning to create scaffolds for dermal and musculoskeletal repair, and incorporating platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for controlled biomolecule release. He leads the Tissue Engineering Scaffold Fabrication Laboratory and has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications. Sell holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center.
