Scott Price

Scott Price is a Continuing Lecturer and Undergraduate Faculty Advisor (Sophomores/Juniors) in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Northwestern University and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from UCSB. His research focuses on chemical education, physical chemistry, nanofabrication, surface science, catalysis, and energy storage. He teaches general chemistry courses and coordinates the 5th Grade Chemistry Outreach Program. Notably, he received the Academic Senate Distinguished Teaching Award in 2018.
