Scott Pickett is a Professor (Lecturer) in the School of Accounting at the University of Utah's David Eccles School of Business. A 28-year veteran of Big Four public accounting who served as PwC tax partner and Salt Lake City Office Managing Partner, he transitioned to full-time academia after early retirement, bringing extensive industry expertise to the classroom.

Professor Pickett's scholarly focus centers on taxation systems and applications, with specialized expertise in Federal, International, and State Taxation frameworks.
