Scott Ollinger

Scott Ollinger is Professor of Natural Resources and the Environment at the University of New Hampshire, where he studies carbon and nitrogen cycling in forest ecosystems. His research combines field measurements, remote sensing, and ecosystem modeling to investigate forest productivity, canopy chemistry, and climate change impacts.

He leads projects involving hyperspectral remote sensing in the White Mountain National Forest and collaborates on regional analyses of forest responses to environmental stressors like ozone pollution and nitrogen deposition.
