Scott McGuire

Scott McGuire serves as Director of Theatre Administration and Instructor within Elmira College's School of Humanities and Creative Arts, where he oversees the Theatre Program's operations and instructional activities. He actively directs campus productions such as the May 2023 musical Edges: A Song Cycle presented in Gibson Theatre, demonstrating hands-on engagement with students and the Elmira community.

His professional focus centers on theatre arts education with specialization in musical theatre direction, dramatic performance, and academic arts administration. This work supports Elmira College's mission to integrate creative practice with liberal arts education through practical production experience and administrative mentorship within the Theatre Program.
