Scott Hendricks is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Clark University, holding the George F. Kneller Endowed Chair in Philosophy since 2001. He teaches courses including Philosophy of Mind, Epistemology, Symbolic Logic, and Plato’s Republic for first-year students. His research focuses on phenomenal concepts, anti-physicalist arguments, and intersections of philosophy with science fiction.

His work emphasizes logical rigor through teaching symbolic logic.
Teaching & Collaboration: Co-taught an interdisciplinary seminar with Prof. Betsy Huang (English) titled “Science Fiction and the Mind of the Other,” integrating philosophy with literary analysis. Regularly offers undergraduate seminars on ancient Greek philosophy, particularly Plato’s Republic.
