Scott Fowler is an Associate Professor (Docent) at Linköping University's Department of Science and Technology (ITN), part of the Communications and Transport Systems (KTS) division. He holds a PhD from Wayne State University (2006) and previously served as a Research Fellow at Aston University and Sony Ericsson R&D lab (2006–2010). His expertise spans wireless networks optimization, mobile edge computing, and 5G/6G technologies. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and ACM. Current research focuses on virtual reality network optimization, mmWave beam alignment for autonomous vehicles, and blockchain-based network architectures.
