Scott Evans

Dr. Scott Evans is a Professor and Founding Chair of the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at George Washington University, where he also serves as Director of the Biostatistics Center. With over 20 years of experience, he leads large NIH-funded initiatives, including the Antibacterial Resistance Leadership Group (ARLG) and the Exercise and Nutrition Interventions to Improve Cancer Treatment-Related Outcomes (ENICTO) consortium. His work focuses on clinical trial design, benefit-risk evaluation, and antimicrobial resistance, with over 200 peer-reviewed publications and three books on clinical trials.

Education: Ph.D. in Biostatistics and M.S. in Mathematics.
