Dr. Scott Bryant is a Professor at the Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship, Montana State University, specializing in Management. His research focuses on entrepreneurship, leadership, emotional intelligence, and knowledge sharing. He holds a Ph.D. in Management & Organization from the University of Oregon (2002).
His recent work explores entrepreneurial mindset development in engineering and business students, gender dynamics in business education, and motivational factors for scientist entrepreneurs in Vietnam. He has published widely in journals like Entrepreneurship Education and Pedagogy and Journal of Organizational Psychology.
Dr. Bryant has received the Gary K. Bracken Excellence in Teaching Award (2019, 2018) and was nominated for prestigious teaching awards in 2011-2012. His professional service includes roles as a reviewer for the Western Academy of Management and Management Decision.
He teaches capstone courses in strategy and has led initiatives to accelerate entrepreneurial ecosystems through faculty development. His work bridges academic research with practical applications in business education and organizational behavior.
