Scott Bakal is an Associate Professor at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, with a career spanning over two decades as an illustrator and visual artist. He holds an MA from Syracuse University and an MFA from Hartford Art School, where he received the Regent’s Honor Award. His work has been commissioned by major publications such as The New York Times, Rolling Stone, and Smithsonian, and is featured in permanent collections at the Norman Rockwell Museum and New Britain Museum of American Art.
