Scott B. Reeder

Scott B. Reeder is a tenured Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with additional affiliations in Radiology and the School of Medicine and Public Health. He serves as Vice Chair of Research, Chief of MRI, and Director of the UW Liver Imaging Research Program, an NIH-funded initiative focused on advancing quantitative imaging biomarkers for liver disease.

His research spans technical development and clinical translation of MRI methods for abdominal adiposity, liver fat/iron quantification, perfusion in liver tumors, portal hypertension hemodynamics, and novel contrast agents. Awards include the H.I. Romnes Faculty Fellowship.
