Professor Saša Đokić is a Full Professor and Chair in Electrical Power Systems at the School of Engineering, University of Edinburgh, serving as Deputy Programme Director for MSc Studies in Sustainable Energy Systems. He holds a Dipl-Ing and MSc in electrical engineering from the University of Niš, Serbia, and a PhD from UMIST, Manchester, UK.
His research focuses on reliability and power quality performance of networks with distributed renewable energy generation, storage systems, micro-generation, and demand-side management. He has published approximately 300 papers, three receiving IEEE Best Paper Awards.
Professor Đokić is a Senior Member of IEEE, Member of IET, and participates in IEEE, CIGRE, CIRED, UIE and IEC/BSI international committees.
