Saúl Neves de Jesus

Saúl Neves de Jesus is a Full Professor at the University of Algarve's Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, where he directs the Department of Psychology and leads the PhD program. As Coordinator of the University Center for Research in Psychology (CUIP), he oversees interdisciplinary studies in well-being and societal health. His affiliations include leadership roles in the Portuguese Psychology Forum and the international Stress and Anxiety Research Society (STAR).

His research integrates Positive Psychology, mindfulness, and organizational health, with applications in tourism, education, and clinical settings. Recent projects analyze COVID-19 impacts on mental health, coastal community resilience, and cross-cultural mindfulness interventions. His articles consistently emphasize well-being optimization and stress mitigation strategies.
